Graduated from the National University of Buenos Aires (2006), holds a Master’s Degree in Private International Law from the University of Bologna (2009/2010).
Experience
Eduardo Patricio Bonis is a lawyer specialized in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), foreign investments and start-ups. He has over 20 years of experience advising both international and local corporate clients, as well as family-owned businesses across a wide range of industries. He has led numerous M&A transactions in various sectors (food, industrial, mining, energy, media, among others). He also has extensive experience in mining investments and renewable energy.
Prior to rejoining the firm in 2026, he was the partner in charge of the Corporate and M&A department at Deloitte Legal in Argentina (2022-2026), partner at Navarro Castex Abogados (2014-2021), associate at Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal (2011-2014) and in-house counsel at FC Recovery S.A. (2006-2010). He also worked abroad for the Italian law firm Pavia e Ansaldo Studio Legale, in its Rome offices (2010), and for FC Recovery S.A.’s Brazilian subsidiary, Recovery do Brasil, in São Paulo, Brazil (2008).
He has been a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) since 2018. In 2025, he was appointed National Representative of AIJA for Argentina. He also served as Vice President (2022-2023) and later as President (2024-2025) of its Environmental and Energy Law Commission, and is an active member of its M&A Commission.
He was recognized by Leaders League in the Corporate and M&A area (2022).
He is a member of the Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal (CPACF) and of the Colegio de Abogados del Departamento Judicial de San Isidro, Buenos Aires Province. He is also a member of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Argentina and of IDEA (Instituto para el Desarrollo Empresarial de la Argentina).
He participates as a speaker and moderator at various conferences and seminars related to his areas of practice. He has written numerous articles for both local and international publications.
