After five years of working in the National Judicial Branch, he joined the study of his father, Dr. Héctor Pedro Lanfranco, which had been created in 1921.

In 1959 he was one of the founding partners of Estudio Lanfranco y Mariño. In 2000 he founded Lanfranco & Detry together with Amaro Detry.

He has been active in business leadership and in social and community participation institutions.
